I am wife to Steve and mom to Andrew, Austin, & Alec. We also have a crazy little Yorkie Poo named Ozzy (after Ozzy Osbourne). I live and work at the Jersey Shore.
I graduated from college (Montclair State) way back in the 80’s with a degree in Retail Merchandising & Management. I started the career of my dreams, as an assistant buyer, for one of the big department stores in NJ. I loved what I was doing but after getting married and having my 2nd son, the commute from the Jersey Shore to Manhattan became a bit trying.
I then immersed myself as The Ultimate Stay-at-Home Mom- PTA President. During that time (in my late 30’s) I added one more son to the picture…next came the Big 4-0 and I loved it! Life was great but then things got interesting…
My 40’s became a decade of change…getting divorced (something I never thought would happen to me), going back to work full-time (working with the most inspiring women ever) raising teen-age boys (goal: to create good men & husbands), dating (beyond interesting), traveling to Italy (life changing), meeting my true soul-mate (he truly is), getting married (the perfect day), joining a family business(being part of a Legacy), and ultimately turning 50!
Through it all, ups and downs, my faith has been my ultimate guide. I am happy to say… Life is still good….actually, it’s better than ever! I am truly blessed. We (as a family) work hard but we make sure to appreciate and enjoy each and every day.
I am friendly & out-going and I love to talk and to share my experiences (my husband can vouch for that). Ultimately, I needed a place to log of all my ideas and adventures in life. This blog is a personal outlet for me but if you happen to stop by…I hope you enjoy!
